Welcome to the AZ Doodle Ranch Family.
We have your new puppy needs covered!
How to Get a AZ Doodle Ranch Puppy:
- We strongly encourage you to be placed on our wait list if you are interested in a upcoming litter. We require a short application and $50 deposit to be placed on a waitlist. We only take deposits and applications for planned litters and the estimated number of expected puppies in each litter.
- As a Ethical breeder we do not breed unless we have a wait list established. We want to ensure that our puppies go to loving, long term homes to committed families. Please inform us immediately of any changes to your plans.
- Once puppies are born and genders determined then an additional deposit will hold your reservation for your preferred gender
- An application is required so that we have your information and commitment to caring for your lifelong doodle companion
Seller reserves the right to screen prospective owners and to deny the sale of a puppy - Once the application is accepted and deposit is received you will be placed on the reserve list on a first come basis
- Specific puppy selection occurs at 6 weeks following an arranged visit to our home to interact with the puppies.
Seller will assist in determining the best placement for specific puppies based on puppy temperament - Because these are hybrid puppies we cannot guarantee the color or size of your dog when full grown
- While allergy reactions to F1b English Doodle's are very rare, it is possible for those with severe allergies, thus we cannot guarantee that you or any of your family members will not have a allergic to your purchased puppy. We highly recommend that you come visit the puppy and complete a "T-shirt" test if you have any concerns regarding possible allergic reactions.
- Unfortunately due to concerns with a high rate of Parvo and other easily spread canine diseases in the valley, we do not allow buyers to come interact with the puppies prior to 6 weeks of age. We additionally do not allow visitors to our home simply to see and play with the puppies, aside from our personal family and friends. This is for their protection.
Comprehensive Puppy Package
We LOVE our puppies and want them to get the best start as not just a pet, but a part of your family. We take pride in sending your healthy puppy home with all of the support that we can provide!
and The purchase price includes the following:
* A note on declaws. Here at AZ Doodle Ranch we have researched and spoken with veterinary professionals and no longer believe that the removal of dewclaws is a necessary procedure. The risks of declaw removal far outweigh the benefits. In order to safely remove declaws the litter of puppies must be taken to the veterinary clinic within the first three days of life. This causes undue stress to the mother and puppies. This also places the puppies at risk for illness by taking them out of the whelping box at home, and to a veterinary clinic which is frequented by ill animals. The removal of declaws is also not a painless procedure. By leaving the declaws intact the dog has a additional defense mechanism to utilize for protection or in a situation that requires climbing (like of off ice). If your dog presents with a loose declaw which is of concern, you can elect to have them removed at the time of spaying or neutering.

After You Bring Your Puppy Home
The decision to own a dog is a long term commitment, doodles in particular have a long life expectancy related to their hybrid vigor. You can expect your doodle to be with you for the next 10 to 15 years. If you, at any point, are in need of re-homing your doodle we ask that you contact us so that we may assist in re-homing or return the puppy to us. We want to ensure that our puppies are placed, and remain long-term in loving and competent homes. You will not be reimbursed for the purchase price of a re-homed puppy.
We send all puppies home with complete puppy instructions, however please let us know if you require additional support in preparing for the arrival of your puppy. This is often true for owners who have not parented a dog through the puppy stages before. A new puppy is akin to bringing home a new baby. They will cry for the first few nights in their new surroundings. While we start our puppies potty training very early on, a 8 week old puppy is not physically capable of being potty trained. You will need to ensure that your puppy has a safe place to play when not under your direct supervision. Puppies of course also love to chew (some more then others), dig, and play. We advise to not expect more out of your new puppy then you would out of a infant or toddler who is not yet potty trained and aware of personal dangers. PLEASE ensure that your puppy does not have access to a swimming pool as they can drown at such a young age.

Let's talk about it, Why not just buy a Cheaper Puppy?
It is said that you get what you pay for and this is especially true when purchasing a living animal. A standard size doodle is going to live with you for 10 to 15 years or more. That is a very long term investment. The emotional and physical benefits to your health from owning a dog is well established. No where could you receive daily mental health support over the course of 15 years for the price of $1,800 to $2,500. Many families want a puppy quickly after deciding to purchase a dog, thus they look on large puppy sales pages or at local puppy stores. The risk of purchasing a cheap puppy quickly is that the puppy may be coming from an out of state puppy mill or a inexperienced backyard breeder. The ethical impact of supporting such practices is detrimental. The long-term cost to your pocket book can add up to thousands of dollars in professional dog training services, to correct behaviors for a puppy that was not properly socialized, not to mention the damage to your personal property. A poorly socialized puppy can cause daily ongoing stress impacting your family relationships and home life. This is the number one reason that dogs are surrendered to animal shelters or re-homed. The cost of medical care for a puppy coming from an unhealthy breeding home or from non-dna health tested parent dogs can also surpass what you are able to financially afford over the long term. Parvovirus alone, a potentially deadly illness which is easily spread if precautions are not taken, can cost upwards of $2,000 for medical treatment. Less harmful conditions such as tick fever or worms, can still cost hundreds of dollars for blood work and prescription treatment. Hereditary conditions found in poodles include: Degenerative Myelopathy, Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures, Skeletal Dwarfism, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Von Willebrand Disease Type I, Chondrodystrophy and Inververtebral Disc Disease, and GM2 Gangliosidosis. These conditions can result in premature death, disfiguration, and/or significant veterinary bills because the breeder did not dna health test the parent dogs for hereditary conditions.
There really is no such a thing as buying a "cheap" puppy when taking into consideration all of these factors.

What Goes into the Price of a HIGH QUALITY Puppy?
We love our dogs and provide them with constant love and care. It is estimated that a breeder spends 120 hours a month caring for their adult dogs year round. We take pride in raising puppies who make unbeatable family companions. The cost of preparing for and caring for both puppies and parents is a high investment for us including but not limited to:
